Kareri Lake Trek
Also known as Kumarwah Lake, Kareri lake is located approximately 9 km away from Dharamshala, in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is named after the village which is located at a distance of 9km away from the lake. Kareri Lake is a freshwater lake rugged amidst mountains with greenery all around. This trek is less explored and offers great scenic views of valleys and mountain ranges. The diversified beauty of this trek, from glorious mountains to lush green meadows, high-altitude serene lakes, and lush green forests, makes Kareri Lake quite mesmerizing. The trek has a duration of 4 days and 3 nights, and the maximum altitude reached during the trek is 9650 Ft. It is an easy trek and suitable for beginners.
