The Chandrashila Trek begins from Rishikesh, a well-connected hub for travelers. From Rishikesh, it's a 7-8 hour (200 km) drive to Chopta, the base point of the trek. After an overnight stay in camps at Chopta, the trek starts early morning towards Chandrashila Peak (4,000m). The trail first leads to the Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and then continues to Chandrashila Summit, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. After descending back to Chopta, the day ends with rest at the campsite.
The next morning, travelers head to Sari Village (1-hour drive), the starting point for the Deoriatal Trek. A short 2.5 km trek leads to Deoriatal Lake, a serene alpine lake surrounded by majestic peaks. After exploring, trekkers can either stay overnight in Sari Village or return to Rishikesh the same day.

Located at an altitude of 1920 meters (6,400 feet), Sankri is the base camp for the Kedarkantha Trek. Dehradun to Sankri 220km drive which will take almost 10 hours. All the trekkers will be picked up from Dehradun Railway station at 6:30 AM in a Bolero (6-7 seaters), Innova (7 seaters), or Tempotravellers (12 seaters). You will be reaching Sankri by 05 in the evening. Night stay in guest house and hotel. Upon reaching Sankri, we'll check in to our designated homestay. The rest of the day is at leisure and travelers are advised to rest. In the evening, Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Sankri Village.
After an early breakfast, begin your trek towards the sacred Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. The moderate ascent takes around 3-4 hours, leading you through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows with breathtaking Himalayan views.
From Tungnath, continue trekking towards the Chandrashila Summit, where youβll be rewarded with a mesmerizing 360Β° view of Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedarnath, and Chaukhamba.
