The journey begins with a 185 km drive from Dehradun to Natin, followed by scenic treks through oak forests, alpine meadows, and snow-covered trails (in winter). With moderate ascents and comfortable campsites, this trek is perfect for beginners and nature lovers. Here’s the complete day-wise itinerary!

DAY 01: Dehradun to Natin – Scenic Drive Along the Bhagirathi River | 📍 Drive Distance: 185 km | ⏳ Duration: 7-9 hours | ⛰ Altitude: 7,552 ft.
  • Pickup from Prince Chowk, Dehradun at 7:00 AM near the railway station. Overnight buses and trains are available from Delhi to Dehradun.
  • A scenic drive through Chinyalisaur and Uttarkashi, traveling alongside the Bhagirathi River, the main source of the Ganga River.
  • Breakfast & lunch en route (to be paid by individuals).
  • Reach Natin Village, a small picturesque settlement 40 km from Uttarkashi, serving as the trek’s base.
  • Check-in at a homestay, followed by an introduction & briefing session with the trek leader.
  • Enjoy a hearty dinner and rest for the night.

  • There is no mobile connectivity after Purola.
  • The last ATM is in Uttarkashi, so withdraw enough cash before heading to Natin, as online payments may not work due to poor network connectivity.
  • Carry the power bank and fully charges the head torch or lights. Situated on the higher altitudes.
  • The trek depends on the weather conditions.
  • The staying option at the camps are very basic in nature, so you should not expect any luxury during the trek.
  • Pack essential energy food like energy bars, dry fruits, and nuts for the trek.
  • Be a responsible traveler and forbid littering in nature. Carry garbage bags and avoid the use of any plastic ruining the mountains and water.
  • Children below the age of 10 years are not allowed on the winter trek.
  • As there are no permanent toilets on the trek, we carry toilet tents which are dry toilets so you need to carry wet tissues/tissue wipes with you.
